Back in the "good old days" a "Student's Handbook & Directory" was a required object.....you couldn't figure out your way around the school without it!

My sister-in-law, Mary Miller has her Mom's and is sharing it....

Will this building become history?

The school building known as South Bolivar Schoolhouse has become a building in sad state of repair...not a lot to look at, and understandably an eyesore to the area.

Now that the property has been purchased by a new owner the building has to be removed from location, one way or another!  The B.R.A.G. Preservation Society will be discussing the possibility of accepting the building to be relocated to another land parcel at it's meeting May 21st, 2009.

If it is not a financial possibility, the building will undoubtedly be torn down, thus sparking me to get some photos in it's original spot.

If someone wishes to help with financial support or has information/advice to offer to help save the building,

contact: Rose Feenaughty, Bolivar Town Historian
