"She is either holding Mary Elizabeth born in 1911 on South Hill or Ellen Agnes born in 1914 when they lived in Andover.  Mary Elizabeth died in 1933 of appendicitis and Ellen married Robert (Bud) Healey and lived in Wellsville and died in 2001."   Vicki Lynch Gibson

from Cathy M Saunders:  "Strolling through your photos and noticed that the unknown organization was probably the Grange.  I belonged to the Grange in Ossian for many years and am familiar with the sashes that they wore.  Check your Grange records and you will probably find your list of attendees."

Andover Main Street ca.early 1960s.  (Bubba notes a 1960 Pontiac parked in front of Vars Pharmacy).  Many of us remember the time well, just after the bank was remodeled, Sackett's store, Harry Joyce's building, Vars Pharmacy, Joyce Hotel, Diner, Post Office, etc.
