2/2010: Discussion between viewers lead to new comment by Dick Montgomery as follows--"it does not look like the Ulysses, Pa that I remember, the ground is
too flat! The store on what looks like the Main street, looks like a store that used to be Shinglehouse, Pa and the ground around Shinglehouse is fairly flat." ?? This now raises new question. Comments are welcome here. rt
2/22/2010: From Jeannette Buck--"Yes, it is Ulysses. That long building on the corner in the right foreground is Uncle Dorr and Aunt Hazel's store. Orient yourself there then you can see the Methodist church.
What year, do you think? By
that car coming up to the stop sign, I would say later 40s?"
I think we shall now consider the location Ulysses, PA!!
