Steps were replaced in 1944 & again in 1969.

 Picture for postcard was taken on August 18, 1906, the 50th Birthday of NY Governor Higgins.
Gov Higgins is the closest to camera in front seat. The postcard was mailed & postmarked at Rushford on February, 1907, 4 days after the death of Gov. Higgins. He did not reach his
51st birthday. This house was his birthplace which still stands and is used as a residence today.
