Mrs. William Skiff Warsaw - Mrs. Jessie Skiff of this community died Friday Jan 12, 1973 in the Wyoming County Community Hospital Warsaw, following a long illness. Mrs. Skiff was born in the Town of Portage, Sept 23, 1871. She was the widow of William Skiff. She was a member of the Gainesville United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star of Dalton. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Forest (Mildred) Loughlen of Wiscoy and Mrs. Dean (Myrtle) Johnson of Rochester and a granddaughter. Friends may call at the Kopler Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee St Fillmore, Sunday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM Funeral Services will be held there Monday Jan 15, 1973 at 2 pm with the Rev. Irwin Reist, pastor of the Wiscoy UM Church officiating. Burial will be in Alger Cemetery, Town of Hume. |
