Stephen D. Coray

April 26, 1901

Mr. Coray had been a resident of this town the greater part of his life, residing on his farm at Burns for a number of years.  He served the Town as Highway Commissioner for one term, and was a Justice of Peace for ten years.  He was strongly affiliated with the Republican party.  He leaves to mourn his loss one son, John W. Coray, of Redlands, Cal., two daughters, Mrs. D. A. Blose of Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Geo. W. Fay, of this village, and one sister, Mrs. Ira K. Barnum of this village.  Funeral at Presbyterian Church, Rev Edgar D. Clark Officiating.  Burial Canaseraga Cemetery.
