W. J. COLVIN DIED LAST FRIDAY, APRIL 20 1923

Had Been a Resident Here for the Past 29 Years -- Burial at Sylvester, Monday

W. J. COLVIN, who had been a resident of this village for the past 29 years and who several years ago conducted a meat market, died at his home Friday morning, April 20 at 10 o'clock after a long and tedious illness.

Deceased was born at Kingsbury, N.Y., March 14, 1853, the son of John and Roxy (DALABA) COLVIN. He was united in marriage with Emma STANTON, 40 years ago and is survived by his widow, one son, Bert COLVIN of Westfield, Pa., and one brother, Stephen COLVIN of Warrensburg, N.Y. He was a member of the local Tent Order of Macabees.

The funeral was held from the late home, Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Rev. C. W. Tyler of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial at Sylvester, Pa.
