OBITUARY

SUBJECT>Re: Obit-Oristus E. Cline - Stannards
 
Funeral services for Oristus E. Cline of Stannards will be conducted by
Rev. O. Blakely Hill at 3:30 Sunday afternoon in the Embser's Funeral Chapel and burial
will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
 
Mr. Cline, who was born Feb. 6, 1874, in Detroit, Mich., died yesterday morning
(April 17th)in Jones Memorial Hospital. He was the son of Archibald and Ella George Cline,
and had lived in this vicinity most of his life.
 
A retired cattle dealer, Mr.. cline is survived by his wife, the former Ethel Clair.
he was previously married to the former Stella Chalker who died in 1946.
 
Other survivors include a son Earl of Wellsville; two step-children, Mrs. Alfred Thatcher
of Wellsville and Ralph Krusen of Zephyrhills, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, a great-grandchild 
and a brother, Walter Cline of Wellsville, in addition to several nieces and nephews.

 

OBITUARY

SUBJECT>Re: Obit-Earl Cline-Wellsville
 
Earl Cline, 45 of 237 Madison St. died yesterday (Jan 18, 1963) in Jones Memorial Hospital
following a brief illness. A veteran of World War II, he formerly had been employed at the
Sinclair Refinery.
 
Mr. Cline was born here Sept 7, 1917, the son of Charles and Edith Knight Kellogg.
 
Surviving are: his wife, the former Genevieve Costello; four daughters, Mrs. John D. McCurdy
of Lake City, Fla., Mrs. Allen Wright of Jacksonville, Fl, Mrs. Jack Giles of Ormond Beach,
Fla. and Miss Evelyn Marie Cline of Wellsville; three sons, Allen Matthew, Michael John and
Patrick Charles Cline all of Wellsville; a step-daughter, Mrs. Eldred Rowley of Holley;
his stepmother, Mrs. O.E. Cline of Wellsville; four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Williamson and 
Mrs. Elsie Ross, both of Salamanca, Mrs. Edward Sharkey of Wyandotte, Mich., and Mrs. Carlisle 
Smith of Buffalo; and one granddaughter.
