WHEELER CEMETERY

Town of Wirt, Allegany County, NY

The Wheeler Cemetery is located on Andrews Road, about 1/4 from the West Notch Road.  It is mowed a few times a year by the Town, but otherwise it is neglected.  Several markers are tipped over, and a few markers are almost buried completely.  The following list was found in the County Historians files.  It is undated and uncredited, and shows several stones that I did not see on my 2006 walk thru.  Transcribed & Photos by Mary Rhodes, 2006
