Maria King, a descendent of Francis King, the (1798) pioneer settler of Ceres, was killed crossing the street in Ceres, NY by a train.

Mary Williams King Mann, was a descendant of Francis King. She and John Mann, an attorney, ran a stop on the Underground Railroad out of their home n Coudersport, PA.
